Blow up your own house in Google Maps with State Farm’s latest interactive video guerrilla marketing campaign.

State Farm’s new ‘Chaos In Your Town’ campaign gives you the opportunity to create your own movie starring your neighborhood and a robot destined to blow up your house. At http://chaosinyourtown.com/, you can entere your name and address and through Google Street View, you can see what your house might look like if it was blown up.

The guerrilla marketing interactive video campaign is based off State Farm’s ‘State Of Chaos’ commercial campaign. Don't Drink and Drive Guerrilla Marketing Urinal Ad

Guerrilla Marketing Urinal Ad Encourages Men Not to Drink and Drive?

Thinking about driving home after taking back a few cocktails? If you take a trip to the men’s room first then you might be tempted to catch a ride instead.

The urinal guerrilla marketing campaign places a urinal ad roadway sticker inside the urinal along with the message “Don’t Drink and Drive”. Soo I guess if you can pee in a straight line you’re ok to drive home, is that how it goes?

*I’m kidding*

Guerrilla Marketing Dolphin Ride Blames BP for Oil Spill

Would you take a spin on this dolphin ride? This anti-BP guerrilla marketing campaign uses a dolphin ride decked out in oil, trash and the BP logo to incite blame for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, also affectionately called the BP Oil Spill.

It would be cool if proceeds went to help clean up the oil spill but that is still to be confirmed.

Skiing Guerrilla Marketing on Cars

Getting ready for ski season? How about scraping snow guerrilla marketing off of your windshield? I bet the last thing you’d expect to see is a tiny skier skiing down your windshield.

Direct Ski Guerrilla Marketing Tiny Skiier on Cars

DirectSki.com, the winter holiday company for Winter vacation deals and cheap ski packages has placed a tiny guerrilla marketing skiier on cars to promote their website. The skiier is affixed upright at the end of the flier that the guerrilla marketing places under the car windshield wiper. When it snows overnight, the guerrilla marketing skiier at the end of the flier appears as if he is skiing down the car windshield.

Innovative campaign but to brag, I’m so glad we don’t have to scrape snow off my windshield anymore. 8^D

2x1 Coca-Cola Guerrilla Marketing Vending Machine Promotes Sharing

How does Coke use a Coca-Cola vending machine to promote sharing? By creating a larger than life vending machine that gives away refreshing bottles of Coca-Cola at a 2 for 1 price. The only catch is you need a friend to help you complete the purchase.

To make the coca-cola guerrilla marketing creativity possible and promote sharing (or helping others), the vending and selection part of the process is placed higher than normal, requiring you to solicit assistance.

What would you do?

We’ve all had coworkers who tweet boring tweets on twitter or press reply all when they really shouldn’t. These guerrilla marketing and social media propaganda posters created by creative studio have created a guerrilla marketing experiment to change that … and most likely the next conversation around your watercooler.

It seems the thoughts are pretty universal and extend way beyond the world of advertising and production. (When your mom asks you whether she should have an account on “the Twitter” you know the new media has crept far outside of Cupertino, Saratoga and Palo Alto.)

Sad Anti-Email USPS Guerrilla Marketing Video Ad

Sad Anti-Email USPS Guerrilla Marketing Video Ad

anti-email guerrilla marketing video ad

Check out this rather sad anti-email guerrilla marketing video ad for the United States Postal Service. It begins with a slanted view point of how safe it is to get mail delivered person to person, and ends with a scary guerrilla marketing plea for Congress to fix the aging problem the USPS debt is causing America.

Here is what the Wisconsin guerrilla marketer has to say on the youtube video page:

Ever since I posted this, a group of “take it for granted” dummies have taken shots at something no private business would dare attempt. They also have no sense of history or found a need to make sure a private interest with cheap labor can be as secure as the post office.

Sure many have waited in line and complained about it, but they’re waiting in line because of customers asking questions and holding lines up. I’ve waited in line endlessly at our local UPS store, but I don’t see people whining about that.

Get a clue folks, rural area’s are already under-served, and many here in Wisconsin have forced their Republican House members to cancel the closing of postal warehouses that would have delayed mail ONE day. The post office wanted to trim down, our GOP members said no.

The post office is in debt because congress wanted it to go into debt, as the last of the 3 ads shows. Your unsentimental, and fiscally reckless comments prove you can’t manage anything close to the size of the U.S.

Here is what my response is to that Wisconsin guerrilla marketer’s post on Youtube (and you can quote me);

Wow.

What do you have to say?

Google Maps Sex Shop Guerrilla Marketing Print Ad

Google Maps Sex Shop Guerrilla Marketing Print Ad

Google Guerrilla Marketing Print Ad Promotes Google Maps

For some reason, I always consider google print ads or google television commercials to be sort of a guerrilla marketing tactic for the global search giant.

In Google’s most recent print ad aka guerrilla marketing experiment, the company shows a little skin by showing a “La Familia” hotel in the middle of a night club and sex shop, accompanied with the hotel listing that claimed it was a great place for families. The ad implies that if the visitors would have used Google Maps to see a visual of the area they would have known beforehand it was in such a risqué area.

Ahh family vacations. Are they all about the “adventure” anyways??
