Guerrilla Marketing For Movie ‘National Treasure’ Hides Treasure Under Sidewalk

Here’s another guerrilla marketing movie promotion created to hype up the Nicolas Cage movie, National Treasure. Ads were placed on top of sidewalks to look like the sidewalk concrete is hiding US treasury gold underneath. An extra, fake slab of concrete is then placed on the sidewalk next to the ad, made to look like the gold has just been uncovered.

…yea, don’t we all wish.

Ratatouille Movie Guerrilla Marketing Uses Fake Mouse Holes to Promote the Movie

Guerrilla Marketing movie budgets are often limited due to how little time the guerrilla marketers usually have to promote the movie.

Here’s a clever movie guerrilla marketing concept to promote the mouse-movie Ratatouille. Black mouse-holes were slid under hotel doors to look like the door had a mouse hole carved out of it. When guests picked the mouse-hole up from their door a promotion for the movie was attached.

MMA Guerrilla Marketing Headband Around Tree Used to Distribute Direct Mail Flyers

Check out this EASY guerrilla marketing campaign for MMA fighting. A giant “karate-like” MMA headband is wrapped around a tree to hold up and distribute the guerrilla marketing direct mail campaign flyers. What an awesome and cheap way to grab attention to your guerrilla marketing flyers.

PLUS, the only trees that are harmed are those that were used to make the direct mail flyers. You’re probably littering all over the place so it’s not really “green” guerrilla marketing, but hey – at least you can argue it’s easy cleanup and you save money on nails, staples or tape.

In all honesty, these guerrilla marketing direct mail flyers are probably easily taken down by authorities (and quickly) but hey, it’s worth a shot and at least it draws attention to the ads in the first place.

The Mercedes emblem is attached to a suction cup that can be affixed to the hood of your car so you can see what it’s like to drive a Mercedes aka look at a Mercedes emblem the next time you look out your busted car’s windshield.

I suppose it’s a confidence thing, but it’s all fun and games until you accidentally leave it on the hood of your non-mercedes car and someone calls you out. icon razz Mercedes Benz Guerrilla Marketing Hood Ornament
